For this reason, my kids' school, Pickerington Elementary, is collecting spare change and other donations to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This money will be raised in honor of central Ohio children who are battling the effects of blood cancers.
If you would like to make a donation, you can do so online. Visit www.schoolandyouth.org/coh and choose Donate to a School. By donating online, you will receive a receipt for your records and you may designate the classroom to credit. (You can choose either Mrs. Schaar or Mrs. Fisher.)
